WHEN IN OXFORD ...
Transport to Oxford Brookes University campus
Parking is very restricted at Oxford Brookes University. You are advised to make use of the
excellent public transport links to the Headington campus. These include the park and ride
facilities at Thornhill (from where there are regular buses) as well as frequent buses from
the City Centre, should you arrive by train. The coaches from London, Heathrow airport, or
Gatwick airport will drop you off outside the University. For directions to the Headington
campus, a full range of advice is available at:

For information on local taxis, you can print off a list at:

A pdf map of the Headington Campus is on our Location page, showing the location of Clive Booth Hall, the Lloyd Theatre (the venue for the plenary sessions), and the location of the group sessions (the Dem rooms in the Darcy Building). The reception on the Sunday evening is in the Richard Hamilton Building - also shown.
Conference Accommodation at Clive Booth Hall
For those arriving at Clive Booth Hall, this is best approached from the Marston Road at the foot
of Headington Hill. After about a quarter of a mile along the Marston Road, turn right into John
Garne Way and Clive Booth is on your right. This web link leads to a Google map:

The Headington campus can be approached from Clive Booth along a network of paths leading up the Hill. It is best to allow at least 15 minutes to climb the Hill.
